La Armada celebra en San Fernando el X Campeonato de Triatlón con un total de 32 deportistas

Esta semana se ha celebrado el X Campeonato de Armada de Triatlón en las Instalaciones Deportivas de la Armada en San Fernando en el que participaron un total de 32 deportistas procedentes de unidades de la Armada y asistiendo como invitado personal del Ejército de Tierra.

El triatlón es un deporte de resistencia que combina tres disciplinas: natación, ciclismo y carrera a pie que se desarrollan ininterrumpidamente y sin que se detenga el reloj, durante las transiciones de un deporte a otro.

El objetivo del Campeonato, además de proponer la práctica deportiva en la Armada, fue seleccionar al personal que representará a la Armada en el Campeonato Nacional Militar de Triatlón 2023 a celebrar en Águilas (Murcia) del 11 al 13 de septiembre.
